Human Rights
This video focuses on the plight of abused children throughout the world, and the United Nations' effort to create universal standards of fairness and decency through the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Students will appreciate the vulnerability oft he young by witnessing abusive labour practices, military conscription, and homelessness. They will learn to define and promote the rights of the individual, both in their own community and in the world-at-large.
